What is the Business Continuity Centre?
AAP has invested millions of dollars to create a Business Continuity Centre which offers support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The AAP Business Continuity Centre (BCC) is a 90 seat disaster recovery venue that will accommodate businesses on a warm seating basis.
The AAP BCC site can facilitate businesses to a combined total of 320 seats simultaneously. A maximum of 40 seats will be sold to each business.
Why do you need a Business Continuity Centre?
The Business Continuity Centre provides businesses with the security that they can continue to operate in the event of an unexpected disaster.
Unexpected occurrences such as flood, fire, chemical spills and utility failures can cost businesses time and money if they stop the operations of the business for any amount of time.
The Business Continuity Centre provides peace of mind that businesses can continue to function in the event of unexpected disaster.
What do you get at the Business Continuity Centre?
The Business Continuity Centre offers state of the art rack hosting, data-centre and communication facilities. Venues are serviced by AAP’s professional IT department who will assist in set-up and maintenance of all your IT requirements, everyday, 365 days a year.
At the Business Continuity Centre:
- Each seat is equipped with a PC, telephone and internet access.
- General office facilities and amenities are provided
- Scheduled testing of Business Continuity Service - two business days as part of first year’s engagement. One Business day thereafter per year.
- Ad-hoc business continuity testing and setup is available on order.

Where is the Business Continuity Centre?
The Business Continuity Centre is located within the Sydney CBD area at Redfern. We additionally offer space at our Rhodes office for companies looking for the security of a contingency separate from the Sydney CBD.
To ensure business continuity for each client contracted to AAP’s BCC, there will be a geographic separation of each business contracted to AAP’s BCC. Each client can not be within a 1 km radius of each other and each business must not be based on the Rhodes peninsular.
