WHAT WAS CLAIMED
Photos show damage to Gal Gadot's Hollywood star.
OUR VERDICT
False. The vandalised star in the images does not belong to Gal Gadot.
AAP FACTCHECK - Gal Gadot's Hollywood star has not been destroyed, despite what's being written online.
The claims use a photo that shows US President Donald Trump's damaged Walk of Fame star.
The falsities are being shared on social media after the Israeli actor was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 18, 2025.

Gadot was recognised for her film career, which includes roles in Wonder Woman, the Fast & Furious franchise and the live-action remake of Snow White.
"Look what happened overnight Israeli actress and former IDF soldier Gal Gadot's @galgadot brand-new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was destroyed! … whoever did this #freepalestine," an Australian Threads user's caption reads.
Gal Gadot, who is Jewish, served two years of compulsory service in the Israel Defense Forces and has been a public supporter of Israel.

Her Walk of Fame ceremony was temporarily disrupted by crowds of pro-Israel and pro-Palestine protesters who had gathered outside the event.
However, as of March 27, 2025, Gadot's star was undamaged.
This hasn't stopped social media users taking the false claim seriously, with some posts appearing to celebrate the alleged vandalism, and others blaming anti-semitism.
The images being shared were actually taken in July 2018, after somebody struck Donald Trump's star with a pickaxe.
News reports and social media posts from the time show the tool lying on the ground and the centre of the star reduced to rubble.
Trump was inducted into the Walk of Fame in 2007 following the success of his reality television show The Apprentice.
Repeated vandalism of his star - it has also been attacked with a sledgehammer, defaced with a swastika and had a miniature border wall built around it - has prompted calls for its removal.
Entertainment Weekly visited Gal Gadot's star on Thursday, March 20, 2025, and confirmed it had not been vandalised.
